HOT POTATO are a five-piece semi-acoustic skiffle style band. We play blues, country, rockabilly, punk, rock 'n' roll and pop songs from the 1930s to the present.

We are available for bookings in Whanganui and surrounding areas for absolutely any type of occasion.

Our aim is to have heaps of fun playing great music and give you a great night out (or in, if we come to your house).

We can play acoustic or fully-amped in anything from lounges to decent-sized clubs and pubs. We've played in kitchens, back gardens, on boats, on flat-bed trucks, in pubs & clubs, at vintage weekends, St Patrick's Day gigs, bowling club AGMs, on open air stages and at least one stadium.
